Tomas & Genesis, Snowy Girdwood

These fantastic humans traveled all the way from Nevada to have an epic elopement session. They booked this trip last minute as a new year adventure & that makes me adore them extra. We popped around a few different places to get them all they wanted in their session. All destinations were within walking distance to the car so we had ample opportunity to warm up! They wanted Alaska oceans, mountains & waterfalls, & did our best to tackle all of this on January 2, 2020. We even had to change plans a little bit because HELLO snow & cold, but these two were absolutely amazing & had no complaints. The end result ended up being breathtaking. The snow started falling at our last stop & they slow danced in a winter wonderland, the rest of the world quietly in awe with these two's love. This was the most special way to start the new year & I'm so grateful to get to meet such kind people.

"First, Emily and family made our photo shoot an amazing experience. It's a long story to a winter wonderland wedding. Tomas and I spontaneously decided to elope for New Years in Alaska; both had never been to, always wanted to visit, and we love the snow. Of course, last minute planning was difficult. We both contacted multiple photographers. Not only does Emily's web portfolio speak for itself but she was the most personable from email, text, to phone consultation. To us that was a very important quality in developing trust. I say that because it's an important event, we were from out of state, and we didn't know anyone.
